Over the past 60 years, TIC has been at the forefront of every major community development effort that Ilisan has experienced. These include, but are not limited to, the following:
The Ilisan Club established the Ilisan Social Enterprise Development Agency (ILSEED) to combat local economic hardship and resulting social problems. ILSEED is an entrepreneurial program designed to empower youths by providing skills training, mentorship, and financial support. Its main goals are to boost local MSMEs (small businesses), formalize micro-enterprises, generate employment, and guide young people toward profitable ventures to deter them from crime and anti-social behavior.
We are dedicated to improving community health by offering regular free medical check-ups, treatments, and awareness campaigns. We focus on comprehensive public health, including screening for cancers (cervical, prostate), eye health, and dedicated care for children and pregnant women. We achieve this through frequent health outreaches and public lectures.
TIC fully supports the new Ilisan Community Investment Fund (ICIF), led by Dr. Doyin Famodu, which aims to reinvigorate community wealth. The initiative focuses on maximizing Ilisan's economic potential by mobilizing capital, attracting socially responsible investors, and enhancing the well-being of its people. This effort will position Ilisan Remo to capitalize on regional development and emerging economic realities.
